When Wire Cries by Ave Valencia

When Wire Cries

While sitting in my car a few days ago, the way the rain drops clung to a wire fence bedazzled me.

They were inconsolable twigs and wire crying beads of liquid diamonds that had not yet resigned to the fate that they must eventually be let go.

I had to get out and shoot them.

Gracias, Mamá, por esperarme mientras yo realizaba una larga sesión fotográfica improvisada de una barda.

(Thank you, Mother, for waiting for me while I did a long improv photo session of a fence.)
